RAZORFISH, MARMALADE Xyrichys blanchardi A pretty pinky orange and turquoise blue vertically striped small fish often seen near the seabed in Comfortless Cove. It has a pattern of fine red vertical lines on its head. Feeds near other fish, including Goatfish, on nutrients being stirred up.The striped orange / tan and fawn juvenile marmalade razorfish is a poor swimmer, so at first sight looks like seaweed moving in the surge. Ascension only. |
