WRASSE, ISLAND HOGFISH / "PARROTFISH" Bodianus insularis A difficult fish to identify as it has 3 colour phases; bright yellow, red, and brown with a variety of reds and golds depending on the point of change. Fish in the red and brown phases have a pale blue line along the top of their back. Identifying features are the pointed wrasse head and the red 'o-ring' eye. |
